Tester (Manual QC) 06 Months Contract

Tester position takes crucial role to carry out testing product/function quality, ensuring the function runs smoothly and secure an optimal experience to end-users.

Key Accountabilities

• Requirement analysis: study, comprehend and analyze business requirement (BRD, SRS); including system workflow and functional/non-functional requirements.
• Testing execution and defect management:
  • Develop test scenarios, including detailed test cases for mobile application features (both Android and iOS) and other system requirements.
  • Prepare test data (based on each test case) and test plan that align with project timeline.
  • Conduct functional/non-functional testing during project’s UAT stage, including UI/UX testing, feature workflow, report and other relevant cases.
  • Conduct regression testing (impact testing), critical function verifying as requested for production releases guarantee.
  • Identify, log detailed bugs on project management tool and collaborate with Developer/BA to clarify, track and verify bug fixes.
• Reporting as daily tasks:
  • Prepare daily/weekly testing report as requested by Team Head or project manager.
  • Prepare ad-hoc report of testing progress which relates to features on mobile app or other system.
• Other assignment by the Heads, including departmental administration tasks.

Education background

• College/University Graduated.

Minimum Experience

• Preferable 06 months – 2 years of experience in software testing, especially in mobile app (both Android and iOS) testing.
• Strong plus: prior experience working/testing in banking and finance, preferably in consumer finance, fintech or other relevant business sectors.
• Experience in digital project/product management and implementation; deep understanding of project lifecycle (Agile/Scrum/Waterfall) is an advantage.

Knowledge, Competencies, Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft office tools (word, excel, etc.), project management tools, UX/UI tools and other supportive testing tools (if any).
• Be able to multi-task, focus on details and adhere to timelines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate smoothly with Stakeholders and Developer/BA/PM.
