Supervisor, Warehouse Operations

General Description:

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily warehouse activities to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate execution of customer operations.

The role leads a team of warehouse associates, supports service delivery commitments, maintains operational compliance, and drives productivity through effective workforce coordination and continuous operational improvements.

Responsibilities:

- Warehouse Operations Management

• Supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure activities are executed safely, accurately, and efficiently.

• Coordinate order fulfillment and shipment activities to meet agreed service levels and turnaround times.

• Monitor operational performance and resolve day-to-day issues to minimize service disruptions.

• Ensure warehouse activities are conducted in accordance with approved SOPs and work instructions.

• Support inventory control activities, stock checks, and investigation of inventory discrepancies when required.

• Escalate operational risks, service issues, or resource constraints to the Warehouse Operations Manager in a timely manner.

- Team Leadership and Development

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse associates to achieve daily operational targets.

• Allocate manpower and resources effectively based on workload requirements.

• Provide coaching, guidance, and on-the-job training to team members.

• Monitor employee attendance, productivity, and compliance with operational requirements.

• Foster a positive, disciplined, and safety-focused working environment.

- Customer Service and Communication

• Respond to customer inquiries and operational requests in a timely and professional manner.

• Support investigation and resolution of customer complaints and operational issues.

• Maintain effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders regarding warehouse activities.

- Safety, Quality and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, security standards, and operational procedures.

• Promote 5S practices and maintain warehouse housekeeping standards.

• Support internal audits, customer audits, and compliance inspections as required.

• Report safety concerns, incidents, and near misses according to company procedures.

- Continuous Improvement

• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend practical improvement opportunities.

• Support implementation of process improvements to enhance productivity, service quality, and operational effectiveness.

• Encourage team members to participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

- Reporting

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports accurately and on time.

• Monitor key operational metrics and provide updates to management.

• Support manpower planning during peak seasons, holidays, and special operational requirements.

- Other Responsibilities

• Attend relevant training programs to maintain and enhance professional knowledge and skills.

• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• College or University degree.

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse operations experience.

• At least 1 year of experience leading or supervising a warehouse team.

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, contract logistics, or warehouse operations is preferred.

• Experience with SAP and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• Good command of English communication.

Working hours: Willingness to work in a 3-shift rotation is required.
