Purpose of Role: Lead industrial process optimization and capital project execution to improve manufacturing efficiency, safety, quality, and cost performance.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Process Design & Optimization (40%): Analyze current processes, identify bottlenecks, propose, and implement improvement solutions to increase productivity, reduce waste, optimize time, lower operating costs, and ensure product quality.
Project Execution (30%): Plan, monitor, and execute investment projects for machinery, line improvements, plant upgrades, and production system optimization from design, procurement, installation, and commissioning to final handover and acceptance.
Technical & Compliance Management (10%): Collaborate with relevant departments to develop SOPs, operating standards, technical specifications, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and internal standard requirements.
Cross-functional Coordination (10%): Work closely with Production, Maintenance, QA/QC, Supply Chain, and suppliers to resolve technical issues, implement improvements, and manage project progress, budget, and overall efficiency.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement (5%): Track KPIs, prepare project progress reports, analyze production data, train operating teams on new processes, and promote a continuous improvement culture based on Lean/Kaizen/5S.
Project Control & Investment Efficiency (5%): Build and control CAPEX/OPEX budgets, manage the overall timeline, track project risks, evaluate Return on Investment (ROI), and ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet operational goals.

1. Experience & Background:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment (FMCG / food / processing industry preferred).
Hands-on experience in managing technical projects, process improvements, equipment installation, and line acceptance.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, PMP, and CAPEX/OPEX is an advantage.
2. Capabilities (Attitude, Skills, Knowledge):
Strong skills in project management, planning, schedule control, and budget management.
Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and root cause analysis capabilities.
Technical Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Microsoft Office (Power Query/Pivot), Power BI, MS Project, and other related engineering tools.
Effective communication, cross-functional coordination, and supplier management skills.
Attitude: Proactive, highly responsible, continuous improvement mindset, and able to work under high pressure.
3. Additional Requirements:
Language Skills:
English: Proficient in reading technical documentation and working with suppliers.
French: Conversational proficiency is an advantage.
Flexibility:
Willingness to travel between plants/sites as required by projects.
Willingness to work overtime during installation, commissioning, or troubleshooting.
