JOB SUMMARY

Work with department managers, supervisors, and coordinators to develop and implement process strategies, manage process resource, and optimize current processes. Work hands on lead process transformation, re-engineering, or new technologies to improve process efficiencies, quality, and throughput. Constantly communicate the improvement culture throughout the Company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Proactively taking/driving for process improvement and process innovation ideas.

2. Design and testing new processes, system for upgrade or new products requires.

3. Develop and monitor standardized operating operations for upgrades or new processes.

4. Searching, studying for new machines, new technologies.

5. Ensure current process complies with safety standards and quality standards.

6. Assess current processes and maintain process documentation.

7. Develops innovative solutions to unique problems. Professional abilities & technical accomplishments are recognized in the area of expertise.

8. Study and analysis for process capacity, costing, ROI for the assigned projects.

9. Support Production Department to optimize thru-put and sustain improvement activities for both C&S, UPH.

10. Training and develop lower level engineer/new comer to meet requirements.

11. Complete other assignments and special projects as requested by the Supervisor and Department Head.

Yêu cầu công việc

1. Education

• Required –Graduate of a good university with lean manufacturing, process excellence learning. Engineering discipline.

2. Experience

• More than 3 years experience in relevant role in large labor intensive manufacturing company (headcount >3,000)

• Expert user of Excel and statistical analysis software

• Knowledge of Auto CAD, Solid work as a plus

• Kaizen, Cell manufacturing, CQI, 6S, Pull manufacturing, One Piece Flow, Flexible processes, experience in managing multiple kaizen project

3. Knowledge of:

• lean manufacturing, process improvement

• theory of constraints

• Statistical process control

• project management

• Budgeting and cost control

• Change management

4. Skills and Abilities
