KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As the “product owner” for your assigned product category, you will be responsible for the full product lifecycle - development, production, sales, and P&L - managing the entire process end-to-end. Through hands-on business management experience gained via product development, this role can lead into people management. Employees can nominate themselves for promotion every month, and as part of the management team you will take part in business operations and strategy planning.

• New Product Development

o Identify new product needs through customer visits and data analysis; gain approval for commercialization by presenting at new product review meetings

o Coordinate with partner manufacturers (including sourcing new manufacturers when needed) on quality, price, lead time, and supply to bring products to market

o Prepare catalog/ e-commerce product page content and register the required sales master data to launch

• Sales Channel Improvement & Inquiry Handling

o Improve how customers select products via sales channels (e-commerce pages, print catalog) and update listed information

o Respond to customer inquiries that could not be resolved by the technical support team

• Complaint Handling

o Involve in handling customer claims about defective products and working for quality improvement with suppliers

KEY SKILLS

• Product support & solution proposals: Regularly engage with customers (design engineers) to understand their design requirements and match them with our supply capabilities

• R&D: Research and analyze the market to identify customer-driven product and service opportunities, including presenting internal approval proposals

• Supplier management: Drive commercialization by aligning quality, price, and supply with partners

• Promotion: Launch products by creating catalogs, sales tools, and training sessions

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must have:

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering

• At least 1 year of working experience in the factory automation (FA) field

• Strong communication skills; objective thinker who prioritizes facts and customer value

• Proactive learner who readily accepts feedback and applies it immediately to grow

• Basic business communication in English

• Willing to visit customers/ factories often

Nice to have:

• Working experience with conveyor manufacturers or automation machine design

• Working experience in product research & development, or working with suppliers

• Basic business communication in Chinese

Soft skills:

• Self-driven - thinks, acts, and communicates proactively on their own initiative

• Genuinely engages with customer pain points and finds fulfillment in solving problems

• Empathetic and collaborative, mindful of others while working as part of a team
