RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take ownership of costing activities across all manufacturing sites, including cost estimation for new or special products to support selling price setting and production forecasting.

• Consolidate periodic manufacturing costs by department for payroll purposes, inventory accounting, factory labor allocation, verification of actual costs, and variance analysis.

• Standardize manufacturing cost calculations across production departments, including the separation of variable and fixed costs to support sensitivity analysis. Classify manufacturing costs into labor, materials, and overheads.

• Review and simplify budgeting processes related to manufacturing costs.

• Drive process automation and streamline actual costing and budgeting processes.

• Take overall responsibility for cost-related management activities.

• Prepare and manage cost-related reports and facilitate cost benchmarking across manufacturing sites. Ensure the timely, accurate, and valid submission of inventory and gross margin schedules to management.

• Train production teams and provide guidance on costing-related matters.

• Monitor, analyze, and benchmark factory manufacturing and development costs.

• Document and manage key inputs for product costing, including raw material prices, material waste impact, building/labor costs, tooling costs, and depreciation.

• Collaborate with Product Management, Materials, and Product Development teams throughout the product development cycle and line review process to achieve profitability targets.

• Coordinate with Sales and Operations teams on product volume forecasts, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively seek opportunities for volume cost reductions.

• Prepare, analyze, and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly gross margin analyses by brand and customer type.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• CPA qualification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in costing, preferably in the footwear, shoes, leather goods manufacturing industry.

• Proficient in relevant costing/accounting software with strong Excel skills.

• Good command of English communication.
