Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Business Development Manager (Freight Forwarding, $1900, ID21631)
- Proactively identify, target, and acquire high-value B2B commercial accounts (focusing on Tier A & B enterprises while driving expansion in the Chinese corporate segment).
- Nurture and drive revenue growth across allocated existing client portfolios to consistently hit annual commercial targets.
- Formulate custom logistics service proposals, engineer competitive freight solutions (Air & Sea), and oversee seamless operational onboarding for newly secured client business.
- Serve as the senior escalation contact to address and resolve complex operational or commercial issues for key client accounts.
- Monitor market trends, analyze competitor strategies, and implement growth initiatives to expand regional market share across Vietnam and international trade lanes (including European/German markets).
- Generate and manage cross-border sales leads in close alignment with global network affiliates, overseas branch offices, and trade-lane specialists.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive commercial presentations, engage in trade networking events, and develop accurate growth projections.
Yêu cầu công việc
- Educational Background: College Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or International Trade.
- Experience: 5–6 years of progressive sales/BD experience in Freight Forwarding / Logistics (covering both Air and Ocean freight solutions), including at least 3 years in a Business Development Manager capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively as an autonomous Individual Contributor with strong self-drive and professional executive posture.
- Language Proficiency: Full professional fluency inEnglish(for direct executive reporting to German Management) andChinese/Mandarin(for business development, negotiations, and client engagement).
- Solid working knowledge of customs clearance procedures, shipping documentation, and international trade terms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, accompanied by excellent consultative sales, negotiation, and presentation techniques.
