Tax And Accounts Receivable Specialist

YOUR ROLE

As a Tax & AR Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Vietnamese tax regulations and managing the Accounts Receivable (AR) process. You will support accurate financial reporting, maintain customer accounts, and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely tax filings and cash collection.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and submit VAT, Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Personal Income Tax (PIT), Foreign Contractor Tax (FCT), and other tax declarations in accordance with Vietnamese regulations.

• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and support tax audits and inspections.

• Maintain tax records and monitor tax payments and deadlines.

• Issue customer invoices and ensure timely and accurate billing.

• Monitor Accounts Receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments.

• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.

• Record AR transactions accurately in the ERP system.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to tax and AR.

• Prepare tax, AR, and cash collection reports for management.

• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and other departments to improve collection performance and financial controls.

• Support continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Experience in tax accounting and Accounts Receivable within a manufacturing or multinational company.

• Good knowledge of Vietnamese tax regulations and accounting standards.

• Familiar with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Tax and/or Accounts Receivable.

• Experience in an FDI manufacturing company is preferred.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

• Good command of written and spoken English.
