Manufacturing Supervisor

YOUR ROLE

As a Manufacturing Supervisor/ Team leader, you will oversee daily shopfloor operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved. You will lead operators and line leaders, drive operational discipline, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise daily production activities to ensure output meets plan and customer requirements

• Lead and manage operators and line leaders to ensure smooth operations across shifts

• Ensure adherence to work instructions, manufacturing methods, and standard operating procedures

• Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions to address gaps

• Ensure product quality meets specifications through proper process control and inspection practices

• Support resolution of quality issues and implement corrective actions

• Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements

• Develop and execute production plans in alignment with customer demand

• Drive on-time delivery through effective coordination and resource management

• Monitor and control production costs, including manpower and resource utilization

• Apply problem-solving tools to address production challenges and improve performance

• Develop and coach team members through training and skills development programs

• Support manpower planning, attendance management, and workforce discipline

Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)

• Comply with Versigent EHS policies and support site EHS objectives and targets

• Ensure compliance with all safety rules, procedures, and legal requirements

• Maintain a safe, clean, and environmentally responsible working environment

• Identify, report, and follow up on unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and hazards

• Support risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions

• Promote safety awareness, safe behaviour, and continuous EHS improvement

• Experience in manufacturing WIRE HARNESS IN CAR

• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and shopfloor management

• Experience managing operators and handling day-to-day production issues

• Familiar with basic problem-solving tools and continuous improvement practices

• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in manufacturing or production supervision environment
