Senior Mechanical / Maintenance Engineer

Key responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate with the O&M contractor to develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) programs for all mechanical equipment

• Plan and supervise scheduled outages and major mechanical overhauls and mechanical equipment maintenance related activities

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of Turbine area equipment (Main Turbine, T-BFPs, CBPs, CVPs etc.) and balance of plant (CHS, Water treatment, CW pumps etc.)

• Manage and procurement of spare parts strategy to minimize lead times and optimize inventory

• Review spare parts procurement list in relation with maintenance requirements

• Techno-commercial vendor evaluation for procurement of spare parts, technical advisory services and plant modification works (capital projects)

• General know-how of CMMS with regards to asset management, spare parts inventory, preventive maintenance regime

• Regular site inspections for maintenance works and delivery of spare sparts

• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions

• Review and approve ITPs and method statements, coordinate with OEMs/vendors, EPC contractors for technical support and warranty matters

• Plan and coordinate implementation of Plant modification work (PMW) related activities

• Develop long-term CAPEX plans for refurbishment, life extension, and replacements

• Evaluate and recommend equipment upgrades/retrofits to improve reliability, efficiency, and compliance

Yêu cầu công việc

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

• 7–10 years of experience in mechanical O&M at a thermal/coal-fired power plant

• Strong knowledge of Turbine and auxiliaries for a coal fired power plant

• Understanding of local and international standards

• Proficiency in English

• Understanding of EPC contract, design basis, specification, O&M manuals, testing records.

• Basic understanding of project documents such as PPA, BOT, CTA and so on.

• Basic techno-commercial knowledge of engineering and asset management
