Objectives

- Work under the guidance of the Unit Head of Data Engineering to develop and enhance data warehouse applications. Responsible for documentation, production support, troubleshooting, and deployment of new initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design robust, well-documented, and high-performing ETL solutions.

- Follow standards and procedures while refining ETL methodologies and techniques.

- Design efficient ETL job scheduling mechanisms.

- Build ETL components.

- Investigate root causes and resolve production issues.

- Utilize change and issue management tools such as Jira.

- Collaborate closely with IT development teams to deliver integrated software solutions.

- Identify and automate ETL processes, including data reconciliation and data availability monitoring.

- Perform other duties assigned by the Unit Head of Data Engineering.

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

Experience

- At least 4 years of experience in Data Mart / Data Warehouse projects.

- Experience in Financial Services is preferred.

Skills

- Hands-on experience with ETL tools.

- Strong understanding of ETL and Data Warehouse processes.

- Experience with database and ETL technologies including:

+ Oracle

+ MySQL

+ IBM DataStage

+ Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)

+ Python

+ Spark

+ Airflow

- Strong SQL, PL/SQL, Python, and Linux Shell scripting skills.

- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
