Industry Engineer

YOUR ROLE

As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for improving manufacturing productivity, optimizing production processes, and supporting cost-effective operations. You will work closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure smooth production of automotive wiring harness.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain standard work, work instructions, and line balancing.

• Conduct time studies and establish standard labor times.

• Analyze production processes and implement productivity improvement initiatives.

• Optimize manpower utilization, workstation layout, and material flow.

• Support new product introduction (NPI) and production line setup.

• Monitor production efficiency, capacity, and labor productivity.

• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and manufacturing costs.

• Support PFMEA, process validation, and production process changes.

• Prepare and maintain IE documentation, including capacity analysis and productivity reports.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Experience in Industrial Engineering within an automotive manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive wiring harness.

• Good knowledge of time study, line balancing, work measurement, and lean manufacturing.

• Familiar with production layout, capacity planning, and productivity improvement.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 2–5 years of Industrial Engineering experience in manufacturing.

• Experience in the automotive industry, preferably wiring harness, is highly preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and engineering analysis tools.

• Good command of written and spoken English.
