The Head of Finance has full accountability for all finance functions, including accounting, credit and collections, treasury, financial analysis, and finance systems administration. The role is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and compliant management reporting to support effective business decision‑making.
Description
* Take full ownership of all finance functions including accounting, tax, treasury, credit & collections, financial analysis, and finance systems administration.
* Lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes from conceptualisation through implementation and monitoring.
* Ensure timely and accurate preparation of all financial and management reports in accordance with local statutory requirements and Group reporting standards.
* Implement and enforce finance policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure strong governance and smooth financial operations across all functions.
* Drive compliance with all regulatory, statutory, and taxation requirements, acting as the key point of contact for audits and inspections.
* Coordinate with external advisors including auditors, tax consultants, and legal counsel on matters relating to finance, tax, and compliance.
* Execute and cascade financial directives, policies, and initiatives issued by Market and Global Headquarters.
* Provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support business planning, decision‑making, and strategic initiatives.
* Develop, coach, and lead the finance team, including accounting, tax, credit services, financial analysis, and supply chain finance functions.
* Conduct internal finance training and knowledge‑sharing sessions to strengthen financial awareness and capability across the organisation.
Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
* Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
* Minimum of 10 years' relevant finance and accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
* Solid knowledge of local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements, with experience in multinational or matrix‑structured organisations.
* Strong financial acumen with proven ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a strategic and collaborative mindset.
