The Logistics Manager is responsible for establishing and managing the end-to-end logistics, warehousing, transportation, and cold chain operations for a Halal food manufacturing business. This role will play a critical part during the factory setup phase

Description

1. Logistics Setup & Supply Chain Development

* Lead the setup of logistics and warehouse operations for a new food manufacturing facility.

* Develop logistics strategies, SOPs, KPIs, and operating procedures.

* Establish transportation, warehouse, and export processes from factory startup through commercial operations.

* Participate in warehouse and cold storage design, capacity planning, and equipment selection.

* Implement WMS, ERP, and logistics reporting systems.

2. Cold Chain Management

* Manage temperature-controlled storage and transportation for chilled and frozen products.

* Ensure continuous cold chain integrity from production to customer delivery.

* Monitor temperature records, alarm systems, and corrective actions.

* Investigate and resolve temperature deviation incidents.

* Optimize cold chain costs while maintaining product quality requirements.

3. Food Safety & Compliance

* Ensure logistics and warehousing operations comply with Halal certification requirements.

* Develop procedures to prevent cross-contamination between Halal and non-Halal products.

* Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, BRCGS, and other food safety standards.

* Manage sanitation and hygiene programs for warehouses, cold rooms, loading areas, and transportation vehicles.

* Support internal audits, external certification audits, and customer inspections.

Profile

* Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, International Trade, Business Administration, or related field.

* Professional certifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Food Safety, or Halal Management are preferred.

* Minimum 8 years of logistics and supply chain experience.

* Proven experience in food, frozen food, chilled food, or FMCG industries.

* Experience in factory startup, warehouse setup, or greenfield projects.

* Strong experience in cold chain logistics and refrigerated transportation.

* Experience managing outsourced transportation fleets and night distribution operations.
