- Our client is a foreign invested company, now looking for a Fabric Sourcing Manager ($1300, ID21669)
- Manage relationships with global mills and manufacturers, focusing on China and South Asia.
- Handle database upkeep, PO generation, bill clearances, and quality management.
- Guide teams on sourcing constraints, lead times, and technical fabric parameters.
- Lead research and development for woven and knitted fabrics across diverse programs.
- Align fabric selections with garment factory parameters, target pricing, and MOQs.
- Drive the sampling process to meet product development deadlines.
- Oversee color approvals, dyestuff application, and spectrophotometer testing.
- Drive sustainable yarn sourcing initiatives and ensure full supply chain traceability.
- Enforce testing standards, compliance requirements, and supplier QA scorecards.
- Align cross-functional calendars between brand teams, mills, and apparel factories.
- Track pre-development and bulk production WIP to guarantee on-time delivery.
- Generate regular MIS reports for management, Accounts, and Finance.
Yêu cầu công việc
- Male / Female, Under 45 years old
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Fluent in English
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fabric sourcing, product development, and supplier management within the fabric industry, with at least 3 years in an equivalent managerial role
- Core Skills: Strong, proven skills in fabric supplier management and supplier development
