Die Engineer

YOUR ROLE

As a Die Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of stamping dies and tooling to support efficient, high-quality production. You will work closely with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure tooling reliability and process optimization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and improve stamping dies, tooling, and fixtures for manufacturing processes.

• Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing and validating new dies and tooling.

• Troubleshoot die-related issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.

• Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance and repair of dies and tooling.

• Analyze tooling performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and tool life.

• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve manufacturing issues.

• Ensure tooling documentation, drawings, and maintenance records are accurate and up to date.

• Support process validation, engineering changes (ECN), and production transfers.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Experience in die design, die maintenance, or tooling engineering within an automotive manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of stamping dies, metal forming processes, and tooling maintenance.

• Familiar with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent).

• Good understanding engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tooling Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Die Engineer or Tooling Engineer.

• Experience in the automotive industry is highly preferred.

• Proficient in CAD software and Microsoft Office.

• Good command of written and spoken English.
