Position Summary

Navigos Search's client is a reputable international furniture brand with strong visibility in APAC and wordwide.


We are looking for a VP of Asia Operations to be based in Ho chi minh centre area.


The VP of Asia Operations is responsible for leading all operational activities across the Company's Asia, organization while ensuring on time product delivery to customers that consistently meet quality, compliance, service, and corporate governance standards.


This executive serves as the Chief Representative for the Vietnam Office and provides strategic leadership for Quality Assurance, Product Compliance, Product Testing, Environmental Social Governance, supplier operational performance, and regulatory compliance throughout Asia.


The role partners closely with Product Development, Supply Chain, Corporate Quality, Sourcing, Logistics, Merchandising, and Manufacturing partners to ensure operational excellence while supporting the Company's global growth initiatives.


The VP is accountable for developing high-performing regional teams, strengthening supplier partnerships, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring operational performance aligns with company objectives.


Primary Responsibilities

Asia Operations Leadership

• Lead all Asia Operations activities supporting the Company's global sourcing network in Vietnam and support efforts with 3rd parties in outlying countries.

• Participate in the development of the operational strategies outlined by the SVP and corporate leadership.

• Execute the operational direction of the corporation.

• Build a culture centered on accountability, continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

• Assist in the development of annual operating plans, objectives, and performance metrics for the Asia Operations organization.

• Coordinate with 3rd party sourcing and inspection teams on corporate SOPs and testing execution for compliance with standards.

Quality Assurance Leadership

Provide executive leadership for all Quality Assurance activities including:

• Production inspections are executed to the quality SOP

• Ensure teams are documenting inspection findings on QA support tools.

• Finish panel renewal process is diligently executed.

• Work with QA Group managers and factory leadership to troubleshoot quality issues for corrective action plans.

• Supplier Quality Improvement initiatives

• Participate in S&OP Supply Review

Responsible for:

• Product quality performance (C&A) at or below target level

• Factory quality scorecards (Work with suppliers on CAPs for top issues)

• First-pass quality improvement (number of units inspected vs number of units with defects)

Supplier Performance Management

Own operational performance of strategic manufacturing partners including:

• On-Time Production Completion Performance (OTIF)

• Production milestone adherence (Validate factory supplied milestone dates)

• Supplier operational reviews (Patriciate with SVP on Supplier Relationship Management Reviews)

• Participate in S&OP Supply Review

• Assist in the delivery of supplier chargebacks when necessary.

• Assist in the negotiation of terms and conditions as part of the new partner onboarding process as needed.

Product Compliance & Regulatory Leadership

Ensure all products meet applicable global regulatory requirements

Serve as executive owner for regulatory compliance across Asia.

Product Testing

Provide oversight of:

• Product qualification testing

• PPS validation

• Laboratory testing

• In-house testing

• Product certification

• Test failure investigations

• Engineering corrective actions

Ensure products consistently meet company specifications before production release.

Compliance & Corporate Governance

Serve as executive leader in Asia for:

• CTPAT compliance

• ESG audit compliance

• Social compliance

• Ethical sourcing

• Responsible sourcing initiatives

• Vendor compliance

• Government reporting requirements

Vietnam Representative Office Leadership



Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Suppl

Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field required.

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in international operations, quality, manufacturing, or supply chain.

• Significant leadership experience managing teams from different cultural backgrounds.

• Extensive experience with furniture manufacturing and global sourcing preferred.

• Executive leadership experience managing cross-functional organizations.

• Demonstrated success leading quality and operational transformation initiatives.
