Technical Interior Designer

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Interior Designer to bridge the gap between creative concepts and technical execution. You will be responsible for space planning, construction documentation, and ensuring all designs comply with building codes. Working closely with our design team, you will transform conceptual visions into precise technical drawings and specifications to ensure seamless project delivery.

* Responsibilities:

• Design Collaboration: Partner with the design team to develop innovative,

functional interior solutions that align with client requirements and project

goals.

• Technical Documentation: Produce high-quality technical drawings (floor

plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details) using AutoCAD, Revit, or

related software.

• Specifications & Standards: Develop comprehensive construction

packages, including material schedules, technical specifications, and

adherence to industry standards/building codes.

• Quality Control: Review shop drawings, material samples, and prototypes to

ensure strict compliance with design intent and quality benchmarks.

• Research & Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends, new materials,

and advanced construction techniques to optimize project outcomes.

• Cross-functional Coordination: Communicate effectively with internal

teams and external consultants to ensure project timelines and deliverables

are met.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field.

• Experience: 4 – 5 years of proven experience as a Technical Interior

Designer (experience in the Hospitality sector is a strong plus).

• Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A team player with the

ability to work under pressure, and a strong willingness to learn and grow.

• Problem Solving: Creative thinking with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to technical challenges

• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous interior projects with a heavy emphasis on technical drawings and detailing.
