Senior Interior Designer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative, experienced, and detail-oriented Senior Interior Designer to join our team. In this role, you will lead the design development and delivery of interior design projects from concept through construction, ensuring exceptional design quality and client satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams while mentoring junior designers and contributing to the overall growth of the design team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of innovative interior design concepts that align with client objectives, project requirements, budget, and timeline.

• Prepare and oversee concept presentations, mood boards, space planning, material palettes, FF&E selections, and design documentation.

• Lead design development and coordinate construction documentation with technical teams.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery.

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders throughout all project stages.

• Present design concepts and proposals to clients, incorporating feedback into the design process.

• Ensure design intent is maintained throughout project execution and construction.

• Conduct site visits and resolve design and technical issues during construction.

• Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation to ensure technical accuracy and design excellence.

• Mentor, coach, and provide technical guidance to junior designers, fostering their professional development.

• Contribute to project planning, resource allocation, and overall design quality across the studio.

• Stay informed of industry trends, materials, furniture, finishes, and emerging design technologies.

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or a related discipline.

• 7+ years of professional experience in interior design.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality design work across concept, design development, and construction documentation.

• Proven experience leading hospitality, residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

• Experience with Revit and rendering software (Enscape, Lumion, or V-Ray) is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of space planning, FF&E, materials, finishes, detailing, and construction documentation.

• Solid understanding of construction methods and coordination with consultants and contractors.

• Proven ability to lead projects independently from concept through completion.

• Strong project management, coordination, and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.

• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop junior designers.

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Fixed Working Hours: 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM, Monday to Friday
