- Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Sourcing Executive (Furniture/Electronics/Electrical) - 1200 USD - ID20114
- Product Development:
- Source and develop products and components for furniture, electrical, and electronic categories.
- Possess strong knowledge of machining components and manufacturing processes, including sheet metal, plastic injection, and electrical components.
- Be familiar with outdoor-related products such as furniture, playground equipment, kitchen appliances, and sauna products.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams throughout the product development process to ensure quality, cost, and timeline requirements are met.
- Supplier Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and delivery schedules to achieve company targets.
- Evaluate supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Purchase Order Management:
- Monitor and follow up purchase orders from production stage through shipment completion.
- Coordinate closely with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery.
- Support the logistics department with shipping arrangements and related documentation.
- Purchasing & Cost Management:
- Work cross-functionally with internal departments to identify sourcing and purchasing requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers to achieve annual cost-saving and budget objectives.
- Analyze product costing and identify cost breakdown opportunities for optimization.
- Prepare regular reports and participate in meetings regarding product and project development status.
- Process Improvement:
- Develop and implement sourcing procedures and workflows to minimize errors and improve team efficiency.
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness and purchasing processes.
Yêu cầu công việc
- Male/Female. Under 45 years old.
- Bachelor's in engineering, international business, or cost analysis.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and sourcing within the furniture, home appliance, electronics, or electrical components manufacturing industry, preferably for outdoor equipment/products.
- Strong sourcing experience in electrical/electronic components is highly preferred.
- Fluent in both English and Chinese.
