Senior Maintenance Manager

The Senior Manager, Plant Maintenance provides strategic leadership for both Equipment Maintenance and Facilities/Utilities teams. The primary focus is to ensure asset reliability, continuous operational performance, safety, regulatory compliance, and maximum equipment uptime (OEE) across high-tech manufacturing and cleanroom operations. This role drives modern maintenance capabilities, including automation, predictive maintenance (PdM), and digital diagnostics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Equipment Maintenance & Asset Reliability (30%): Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for production equipment and automated systems (PLC/SCADA). Optimize OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and spare parts management.
• Facilities & Utility Operations (20%): Oversee plant infrastructure and utilities including HVAC, Chiller systems, Cleanrooms, Air Compressors, Vacuum, RO/DI Water, Wastewater Treatment, High/Low Voltage Electrical, Fire Protection, and BMS.
• Team Leadership & Development (20%): Build, mentor, and scale high-performing maintenance and facilities teams. Drive a strong safety mindset, quality ownership, and continuous improvement culture.
• Business Operations & Governance (15%): Manage OPEX/CAPEX budgets for maintenance, utilities, and facility projects. Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485 (where applicable), EHS, and statutory requirements.
• EHS & Contractor Management (10%): Enforce site safety standards (LOTO, electrical, chemical safety) and manage external vendors, service providers, and contractors.
• Capital Projects & Innovation (5%): Lead facility expansions, machine installations, CAPEX execution, and digital/automation initiatives (IoT/AI).

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
Experience:
• 10+ years of total experience in maintenance, engineering, or facilities within manufacturing environments.
• 5+ years in a management/leadership role overseeing engineering, maintenance, or facilities teams.
• Hands-on experience in regulated manufacturing and cleanroom operations.
Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of automation, PLCs, BMS, SCADA, Chillers, HVAC, and power systems. Proficient in analytical problem-solving using RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, Lean Six Sigma, MTBF, MTTR, OEE, and TPM.
Management & Soft Skills: Strong cross-functional collaboration, project management, CAPEX budgeting, vendor management, and crisis handling.
Languages: Business-level English communication skills (both written and verbal).
