Senior General Accountant (Can Start Immediately)

Position Summary

As the Internal General Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the company's daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with relevant regulations, and optimizing accounting processes. Your role will involve handling tax reporting, payroll, cash flow management, and supporting audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Accounting Management: Maintain and manage the full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with VAS (Vietnamese Accounting Standards) on Xero software

• Financial Reporting & Closings:

o Prepare monthly and annual financial closings.

o Generate VAS-compliant financial statements and monthly management reports.

• Cash Flow Management:

o Monitor cash flow and prepare weekly forecasts.

o Report bank balances to management.

• Tax Compliance & Reporting:

o Reconcile quarterly PIT and prepare VAT, CIT, FCT reports, and year-end tax finalization.

o Ensure correct tax calculations and compliance with Vietnamese tax laws.

o Collaborate with auditors and consultants on tax and accounting matters.

o Manage the timeline tax payment

• Intercompany transaction reconciliation

• Global Reporting: Provide monthly financial data to the Global Finance Team.

• Audit & Compliance: Support internal and external audit processes.

• Other Duties: Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.

• Availability: Can start work as soon as possible.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Auditing.

• Certifications: CA required, CPA or other relevant certifications preferred.

• Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in Excel and accounting software, Xero is an advantage

o Strong knowledge of VAS and the Vietnamese Tax System (CIT, VAT, PIT, etc.).

• Experience:

o Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting.

o At least 2 years in a supervisory or key accounting role.

• Language Skills: English (professional working level)

• Other Qualities: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
