1. EHS Governance and Legal Compliance

• Fully comply with OHS-PR-12, SDD-ENV-PR-07 and all Company QEOHS policies, procedures, standards, rules and legal requirements.

• Own and maintain the Ecocycle EHS management framework, ensuring alignment with Vietnamese legislation, company QEHS policies, procedures, standards and rules.

• Monitor changes in EHS legislation and company requirements; assess impacts and translate them into timely actions, controls and communication.

• Coordinate with Corporate EHS, plant EHS and business teams to define accountabilities, implementation plans and evidence of EHS compliance.

• Prepare and submit required internal and statutory EHS reports accurately and on time.

2. Operational Risk Management and Control

• Lead EHS risk assessments for Ecocycle activities, including waste acceptance, transport, handling, pre-processing, co-processing interfaces, remote work, customer-site services and specialized projects.

• Ensure critical risks are identified and controlled through appropriate procedures, permits, PPE, contractor controls, inspections and safe-work practices.

• Conduct and quality-check Safety Observation Tours (SOT), Planned Task Observations (PTO), field inspections and risk-control verification; convert findings into prioritized improvement actions at Ecocycle sites, off-sites and customers’s plants.

• Provide senior EHS consultation for new projects, operational changes, customer solutions and business proposals.

3. Incident Prevention, Investigation and Learning

• Ensure hazards, near misses, incidents and unsafe conditions are reported promptly in the company system.

• Lead or support high-quality incident investigations using structured root-cause analysis; define effective corrective and preventive actions.

• Monitor action closure and verify that controls are sustained and lessons learned are shared across relevant sites and teams.

• Analyze EHS trends and recommend preventive priorities to Ecocycle leadership.

4. Contractor Safety Management

• Assess, monitor and cordinate with OHS Corporate and H&S area owner to perform CSM requirements for contractors and service providers within Ecocycle’s scope.

• Coordinate EHS requirements and safe interfaces at customer sites, remote locations and Ecocycle facilities.

• Exercise stop-work authority when activities breach legal, company or site EHS requirements.

5. EHS Audit

• Maintain readiness for audits and inspections and ensure findings are assigned, resolved and verified within agreed timelines.

• Develop capability and obtain required verification to perform Ecocert assessments in the role of auditor and auditee; lead Ecocert audits in Vietnam in coordination with internal and regional teams.

• Ensure Ecocert assessments are accurate, evidence-based and completed according to the approved methodology.

• Follow-up and coordinate with relevant teams to close findings on time.

6. EHS Improvement Plan and Performance Management

• Lead and develop Ecocycle Health and Safety Improvement Plan (HSIP) with Corporate OHS, CATL/ HONC plants and relevant functions.

• Define priorities, owners, milestones and success measures; track execution and escalate delays or barriers.

• Maintain EHS performance dashboards and provide clear, decision-oriented updates to Ecocycle leadership.

• Drive continuous improvement using audit results, incident learning, field observations and performance trends.

7. Training, Culture and Stakeholder Leadership

• Develop the annual EHS training and awareness plan with HR and Corporate OHS, covering legal, company and role-specific requirements.

• Act as an EHS trainer and coach for employees, contractors and relevant business partners.

• Build ownership by engaging leaders and frontline teams in risk assessment, safe behavior and corrective-action follow-through.

• Support customer EHS audits and communicate professionally with authorities, customers, auditors and regional stakeholders.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science/Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

Professional Credentials: Relevant legally required EHS certifications or licenses. Recognized professional certification in occupational safety, environmental management, auditing or incident investigation is an advantage.

Experience: EHS experience, preferably in waste management, chemicals, logistics, heavy industry or industrial services. Demonstrated experience leading multi-site EHS programs and influencing senior and frontline stakeholders.

Technical Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Vietnamese EHS legislation; risk assessment and control; contractor safety management; incident investigation and root-cause analysis; auditing; emergency preparedness; EHS management systems; and environmental compliance. Waste management and co-processing experience is a strong advantage.

Language: Fluent professional English and Vietnamese, with the ability to present, train, write reports and engage with authorities, customers and regional stakeholders.

Working Requirements: Willing and able to travel regularly to Ecocycle facilities, plants, remote operations, customer sites and contractor locations in Vietnam.
