R&D Engineering Manager In Bac Ninh - Salary Up To 70mil, Nego

Job Summary

We are a smart consumer electronics and access automation product manufacturing. We are

seeking a highly experienced and technically profound R&D Engineering Manager to lead our

product development and factory technical support teams in Vietnam.

This role requires a rare combination of hands-on software/hardware development expertise

(specifically in MCU, Wi-Fi, motor control, and RF knowledge) and strong leadership capabilities to manage engineering teams, establish departmental systems, and handle international compliance and customer relations. 

Job Responsibilities

1. Management

·         Lead and manage the overall R&D department, including product technology

·         development, project management, and factory production technical support teams.

·         Establish, optimize, and enforce R&D departmental policies, workflows, and

·         standardization systems.

·         Managing and reviewing mechanical and packaging design team.

·         2. Product Development & Technical

·         Oversee the entire product lifecycle from conceptual market design, firmware/hardware

·         architecture, to mass production.

·         Guide the team in hardware circuit design, debugging, and advanced troubleshooting,

·         particularly for motor control and RF applications.

·         Ensure the firmware architecture is robust, utilizing best practices for embedded systems

·         and wireless protocols.

3. Compliance, Certification & Lab Relations

·         Lead the global certification process (FCC, IC, UL, ETL, etc.) for all consumer electronics products.

·         Interface directly with international testing laboratories, manage quotation negotiations,

and lead technical modifications (debugging/rectification) to ensure products pass compliance.

·         Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Information Engineering.

·         Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience in managing an electronics R&D team/department.

·         Deep understanding and rich experience in the consumer electronics market and product

design requirements.

·         Firmware/Software: Proven capability in autonomous electronic product development.

·         Proficient in firmware programming and various communication protocols; expert

knowledge of STM32 MCUs and Wi-Fi chips.

·         Hardware/RF: Solid hands-on experience in electronic hardware circuit design. Direct

experience in motor control and RF design/debugging is mandatory.

·         Compliance: Thorough familiarity with international regulatory standards (FCC/IC, UL, CE). Proven ability to lead technical rectifications for certification failures.

·         Language: Good command of English (both written and spoken). (Ability to speak

Mandarin is a plus).

·         Leadership & Personality: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a

mild/approachable temperament. Proven ability to build strong workplace relationships.

·         Resilience: Highly self-motivated and capable of working effectively under pressure in a

fast-paced environment
