QA Manager

ResponsibilitiesReview and implement the end-to-end QA framework for sourcing operations — from grower onboarding through to produce acceptance at the factory gateDevelop and maintain SOPs, inspection checklists, audit protocols, and grower compliance documentationCreate and manage the grower risk assessment process — evaluate farm practices, chemical usage, water sources, hygiene conditions, and traceability systems for all new and existing suppliersPlan and execute the field inspection and audit calendar; conduct both scheduled and unannounced audits at grower sites and pack-housesOwn the certification compliance roadmap — ensure all sourcing operations meet VietGAP, GlobalGAP, and organic certification standards; lead preparations for external auditsEstablish non-conformance management processes: issue NCRs, define corrective actions, track closure, and analyse trends to prevent recurrenceSet up and manage pesticide residue testing protocols — coordinate sample collection schedules, lab relationships, and results trackingBuild supplier quality scorecards based on inspection data, audit results, rejection rates, and corrective action history; report performance to leadershipTrain and coach growers on food safety best practices, certification requirements, and how to meet DHF quality standardsCollaborate with agronomists on crop health and pre-harvest quality assessments; work with procurement to align quality requirements with purchasing decisionsEnsure all QA documentation is audit-ready at all times — build systems for record-keeping, traceability, and data managementRecruit, manage, and develop QC officers as the team grows; set clear standards for inspection quality and field reportingContinuously improve QA processes based on field data, customer feedback, and evolving certification requirements

RequirementsAt least 5 years of experience in quality assurance or food safety, with 2 years in a management or process-building capacityStrong working knowledge of VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards is required; experience with organic certification, HACCP, or ISO 22000 is a strong advantageProven experience designing QA processes, SOPs, and audit systems — not just executing existing onesTrack record of conducting farm audits, field inspections, and supplier assessments in fresh produce or agricultureBachelor’s degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related fieldStrong analytical skills — able to interpret inspection data, identify trends, and drive corrective actionsComfortable working in the field daily — travelling to farms, walking fields, and working in all weather conditionsExcellent documentation and report-writing skills; able to build systems that scaleGood interpersonal skills — able to build trust with farmers while enforcing compliance standardsVietnamese (native); professional working proficiency in English
