ABOUT YOUR ROLE

The Outsource/Production Planner acts as a vital operational bridge between internal manufacturing demands and external supply partners (subcontractors/OS suppliers). This role is responsible for optimizing volume allocation, monitoring execution to ensure on-time delivery, expanding supplier capabilities and capacity, and driving cross-functional alignment. By leveraging analytical performance tracking, the Outsource/Production Planner ensures cost-effective, resilient, and seamless production operations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

• Allocate and send production orders to outsource (OS) suppliers based on capacity, capability, and lead times.

• Follow-up & expediting deliver by tracking order progress, resolve bottlenecks, and expedite critical deliveries to meet customer schedules.

• Manage OS item development & supplier capacity, drive continuous subcontractors development, and optimize overall supplier capacity.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Technical, Procurement, Purchasing, Customer Service, Quality) to align on outsourcing requirements and resolve operational issues.

• Analyze & report OS supplier performance and OS development: track and visualize OS key metrics, perform supplier scorecard evaluations, and deliver actionable insights for OS strategy improvements.

• Other assignments, related outsourcing projects assigned by line manager.

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

• Bachelor's degree. 1-3 years SML or related experience.

• Good analytical, mathematical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills and detail-oriented.

• Ability to interface with cross-functional groups to define and execute overall requirements.

• Familiarity in process documentation and improvement.

• Ability to design, develop, and maintain tables, formulas, graphs, queries and macros.

• Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office and function specific software.
