Production Engineering Assistant Manager (New Factory)

Responsibilities:

• Support Manager in supervising engineers/technicians and coordinating daily activities

• Provide on-floor technical support and troubleshoot equipment/process issues

• Ensure timely root cause analysis and corrective actions

• Monitor and maintain process performance, stability, and documentation

• Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Kaizen, reduce scrap, downtime, cycle time)

• Assist in NPI activities: trials, validation, pilot runs, and documentation

• Coordinate equipment maintenance, qualification, and performance tracking

• Support equipment design, specification, procurement, and installation

• Ensure compliance with EHS, quality standards, SOPs, and technical requirements

• Track KPIs, manage risks, and report progress to Manager

• Support audits and follow up on quality improvement actions

Yêu cầu công việc

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering

• 3–5+ years of experience in manufacturing/production engineering

• 1–3+ years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation, Lean/Six Sigma, and quality systems

• Experience in process improvement, problem-solving, and project management

• Proficiency in CAD, ERP systems, and production data analysis tools

• Good communication and teamwork skills; able to work cross-functionally

• English (working level); basic Japanese is a plus
