Middle QA Engineer - Automation

Position Purpose
Develop and maintain automation testing solutions for web and API applications to ensure software quality through efficient, scalable, and reliable test automation while supporting continuous delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for web/API API applications across company projects.
- Build and extend the automation framework (BDD/data-driven) following team standards.
- Write and review test cases; analyze requirements to define automation scope.
- Execute regression/sanity test suites, analyze results, and report defects.
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Manual QA Engineers to ensure product quality.

Requirements
1. Education
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
2. Experience
- 2 – 4 years of QA experience, including at least 1.5 – 2 years in test automation
- Proficient in at least one language: Java, Groovy, Python, or JavaScript,…
- Hands-on experience with one of the following: Selenium, Katalon Studio, Playwright, or equivalent.
- Experience in API test automation (REST Assured, Postman/Newman, or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin) and Page Object Model.
- Basic SQL skills for data verification (PostgreSQL/Oracle preferred).
- Proficient with Git (branching, merging, conflict resolution).
- Strong debugging, log analysis, and troubleshooting skills.
- Good English reading comprehension and basic communication skills.
3. Nice to Have
- Experience in banking/finance domain (LOS, core banking, payment).
- Experience with CI/CD, Docker, or testing across multiple environments (SIT/UAT).
- Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter).
- Familiarity with test data strategy and management.
