Japanese Speaking - Quality Control And Product Development Specialist

• Product development (from creating product specifications till mass production).

• Quality control and inspection at manufacturer(s) and supplier(s) factories.

• Problem analysis and quality improvement of defective products.

• Visit manufacturer(s) and supplier(s) and discuss issues; support quality improvement and involvement in new product launches at outsourced /partner factories.

• Business trips domestically (including Hanoi) and abroad as needed — the office covers ASEAN and related markets, so trips may include Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, New Zealand, and Taiwan, as well as training visits to China (Shenzhen) and Japan.

• Prepare daily reports in Japanese.

• Do any other task assigned by the General Director or Quality Control Manager.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Education: College or higher (including university).

• Good Japanese communication skills, speaking and writing at a practical/business level — a formal certification (e.g. JLPT) is not required as long as the candidate can genuinely communicate and work in Japanese day to day.

• Practical quality control / inspection experience; industry or product background is flexible (apparel, home appliances, furniture, etc. are all acceptable).

• Have ability to analyze defective issues and propose quality improvements.

• Willing and able to travel extensively, both domestically and overseas; note the role involves working outside a typical office environment (e.g. at furniture and other partner factories).

• IT competent (office suite, email, internet searching).

• Be able to work to deadlines.

• Ability to work independently, hard-working with a can-do attitude.

• Follow management's instructions.

• Work well with others.
