YOUR ROLE

As Indirect Buyer, you will manage purchasing activities to support production and business operations, ensuring timely supply of materials, cost competitiveness, and alignment with company objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new projects, optimize supply chain performance, and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage indirect purchasing activities

• Coordinate supply chain activities between suppliers, logistics, finance, and internal stakeholders

• Work closely with program managers and engineering teams to support project requirements and sourcing plans

• Support material planning and inventory optimization to achieve inventory turn targets

• Develop and execute purchasing plans for new product introductions (NPI)

• Identify and drive cost savings initiatives and supplier performance improvements

• Conduct market analysis and benchmarking for commodities and services

• Develop and maintain purchasing procedures and work instructions

• Ensure alignment with global purchasing strategies, policies, and processes

• Establish strong communication with regional and global commodity teams

• Drive localization initiatives to support supply chain efficiency and cost optimization

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain within manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier management, and cost control

• Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, logistics, finance)

• Familiar with inventory planning and supply chain coordination

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in indirect purchasing or supply chain

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems

• Experience in manufacturing environment is preferred
