Hotel Project Development Specialist

SCOPE OF WORK

• Support hotel development projects throughout all phases, including design, construction, and pre-opening.

• Coordinate with international hotel operators such as Hilton, Marriott, IHG, etc. to monitor brand requirements, approvals, and operational standards.

• Work closely with consultants, designers, contractors, and internal departments to ensure project alignment and timely execution.

• Monitor overall project progress, manage action items, and proactively follow up with stakeholders to ensure timelines are met.

• Identify project risks, delays, and issues, and follow through until resolutions are implemented.

• Assist in coordinating OS&E procurement, artwork production, uniforms, signage, and other pre-opening requirements for new hotel launches, as well as managing payment processes for assigned procurement packages.

• Proactively track and drive pre-opening activities, including recruitment, training, brand compliance checklists, and operational handover/acceptance.

• Assist in budget monitoring, contract administration, and preparation of periodic reports for management.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree.

Major: Hospitality Management, Project Management, or related disciplines.

Certifications: Preferred but not mandatory.

Experience

• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably with involvement in at least 1–2 hotel projects across multiple stages, including design, construction, and/or pre-opening.

• Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including owners/developers, consultants, contractors, and hotel operators.

• Strong ability to manage project schedules, track multiple workstreams simultaneously, and proactively drive stakeholders toward project objectives.

• Basic understanding of hotel operations, including Front Office (FO), Housekeeping (HK), Food & Beverage (F&B), and Back-of-House operations.

Knowledge: Hotel Operations, Project Management.

Skills & Abilities: Strong communication and English language skills, with the ability to work directly with international partners and operators.
