1. JOB IDENTIFICATION
Job Title: Field Marketing Supervisor – Western On-Trade (WOT)
Department: Trade Marketing
Direct Supervisor: Trade Marketing Manager (On-Trade & South)
Work Location: Ho Chi Minh
2. JOB SUMMARY
The Field Marketing Supervisor – WOT is the on-ground owner of flawless brand execution across the Western On-Trade universe (Cocktail Bar, Hotel Lounge, International Restaurant) in Ho Chi Minh City and the South region. This role lives in the market: visiting every outlet, ensuring every activation detail is executed with perfection, and building a real-time intelligence loop that feeds channel planning with actionable insights from the field.
The role is fully execution-focused – translating approved activation plans into perfect in-outlet reality, acting as the eyes and ears of the brand at every WOT touchpoint, and working shoulder-to-shoulder with CDPs (Sales) as one unified team to drive brand growth in the channel.
3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
3.1 WOT In-Outlet Execution Excellence
• Execute approved WOT activation plans at every single outlet with zero compromise on standard – right activity, right timing, right quality, every time.
• Own the end-to-end deployment of all WOT activations: POSM placement, brand visibility standards, bartender engagement programs, cocktail menu features, and brand education – ensuring every element reflects the brand identity perfectly at each outlet.
• Conduct structured daily/weekly outlet visits across the full WOT universe – no outlet is skipped; every visit is documented with photos, observations, and action items to close gaps immediately.
• Verify and maintain POSM compliance, brand block, pricing display, and activation materials at each and every WOT outlet; escalate and resolve any non-compliance within 24 hours.
• Champion brand perfection obsessively – track every detail of every brand at every outlet, from serve standards and menu presence to bartender knowledge and in-outlet ambience alignment.
• Maintain a live outlet execution tracker covering all WOT accounts – planned vs. actual deployment, compliance score, open issues, and resolution timeline – updated after every visit.
3.2 Outlet Insight Collection & Channel Intelligence
• Systematically collect insights from each and every WOT outlet during every visit: consumer behavior, competitor activity, operator feedback, bartender sentiment, brand performance, and emerging trends – nothing is too small to capture.
• Compile a structured weekly WOT Insight Report aggregating findings across all visited outlets – covering execution gaps, competitive moves, consumer trends, and operator needs – and submit to Channel Planning for integration into activation development.
• Map and segment all WOT outlets by performance tier, engagement level, and growth potential – providing Channel Planning with a granular, outlet-level view of the market to inform targeting, investment prioritization, and new program development.
• Identify and escalate market trends, white-space opportunities, and competitive threats observed in the field in real time – ensuring Channel Planning always has fresh, ground-level intelligence to develop relevant growth programs for the WOT channel.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with outlet owners, managers, and bartenders at every WOT account – making our brands the preferred partner and ensuring privileged access to outlet data and forward planning.
3.3 CDP (Sales) Partnership & One-Team Execution
• Work closely and daily with each and every CDP (Sales) as a true partner and supporter – sharing outlet visit plans, aligning on account priorities, co-solving execution challenges, and celebrating wins together as one team.
• Conduct regular joint outlet visits with CDPs – aligning on execution standards, supporting CDP conversations with outlet owners/managers, and ensuring brand and sales objectives are achieved in harmony at each account.
• Track CDP performance and outlet coverage together – maintain a shared view of each account’s execution status, sell-out trends, and activation compliance; proactively surface risks and co-create solutions before they impact results.
• Equip CDPs with clear, outlet-level execution guides, brand standards, and activation mechanics – so they can confidently represent our brands in every sales conversation and drive the right outlet behaviors.
• Participate in CDP team meetings and weekly sales reviews – contributing field execution updates, outlet insights, and brand performance data to strengthen the overall sales and marketing alignment.
3.4 Brand Detail Perfection & Execution Tracking
• Track every brand execution detail at every WOT outlet with a zero-tolerance standard for imperfection: brand block, serve ritual, cocktail menu listing, POSM condition, staff knowledge, and product availability – all captured, scored, and acted upon outlet by outlet.
• Maintain an outlet-level brand scorecard for the entire WOT universe – updated after every visit, tracking execution scores per brand per outlet, and driving continuous improvement to achieve and sustain perfect execution across all accounts.
• Immediately identify, escalate, and resolve any brand execution failure at any outlet – whether a POSM issue, a listing drop, a serve standard deviation, or a competitor encroachment – ensuring no problem persists beyond the next outlet visit.
3.5 Reporting & Performance Visibility
• Deliver a Weekly WOT Execution Report covering outlet visit summary, compliance scores by brand, issues raised and resolved, CDP collaboration highlights, and insight snapshot – shared with Channel Planning and direct Manager every week.
• Produce a Monthly WOT Channel Performance Snapshot: outlet-level brand execution scores, sell-out performance by account, activation deployment status, competitive intelligence summary, and recommended actions for Channel Planning to incorporate into the next planning cycle.
• Contribute the WOT field execution and insight chapter to Quarterly Business Reviews – presenting outlet-by-outlet brand health, execution trends, CDP partnership outcomes, and concrete growth opportunities for the channel.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years in Trade Marketing execution, field sales, or brand activation – FMCG, spirits, beer, or beverage industries strongly preferred.
• Deep hands-on WOT field experience: cocktail bars, hotel lounges, and international restaurants in HCMC is essential – proven comfort operating in upscale, high-expectation On-Trade environments.
• Proven track record of delivering perfect in-outlet brand execution, building strong outlet and bartender relationships, and translating field observations into actionable channel insights.
• Experience working alongside a Sales/CDP team in a multinational or premium FMCG company is strongly preferred.
Technical & Functional Skills
• Deep WOT channel knowledge: outlet profiles, premium consumer occasions, bartender and operator dynamics, and competitive landscape across Cocktail Bars, Hotel Lounges, and International Restaurants.
• Execution planning and tracking: ability to translate activation plans into detailed outlet-level action plans, manage field visit schedules, and maintain live compliance and insight trackers.

• Insatiable Market Curiosity: Genuinely fascinated by WOT culture – cocktail trends, bartender craft, premium dining, and hotel lounge dynamics. Treats every outlet visit as an opportunity to learn something new and bring it back to the team.
• Relentless Accountability: Takes full personal ownership of every outlet’s brand execution standard – spots problems before they become issues, acts immediately, and never leaves an outlet worse than they found it.
• One-Team Spirit with CDPs: Treats every CDP as a genuine partner, not a separate function – shares information freely, supports their goals in the outlet, celebrates their wins, and steps in without being asked whenever a CDP needs execution support.
• Detail-Oriented Communicator: Captures and reports field observations with precision and structure – translates what is seen in outlets into clear, specific, and useful intelligence that Channel Planning can immediately act on to grow the WOT channel.
