Business Development Manager

• Strategically plan and execute business development and partnership strategies to identify new relationships, generate leads, and uncover potential opportunities
• Drive revenue growth and market penetration in ASEAN by enhancing market presence and expanding the customer base
• Cultivate and manage a pipeline of potential partners and clients, fostering positive long-term relationships with all stakeholders
• Develop proposal decks and sales pitches to promote solutions to target accounts for Ascendas Systems.

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
• Proficient in either Modeling & Simulation or Real-Time Operating Systems
• Substantial engineering or computer science background
• Demonstrated experience in conducting software demos and delivering technical presentations
• Capable of comprehending and addressing technical requirements of customers
• Sales approach focused on providing consultative and solution-oriented services
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Proficient problem-solving abilities
• Strong interpersonal and customer-focused approach to building relationships
• Background in software solutions sales
• Ability to work autonomously or in a team
• Openness to traveling and adjusting to diverse cultural settings
• Preparation of proposal decks and sales pitches to promote solutions to target accounts
• Technical background not necessarily required, but previous experience in software sales and solutions preferred
