Position Summary
• We are looking for an AR & Tax Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team on a fixed- term contract.
• This position will primarily handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and VAT/Tax compliance, including monthly VAT declarations, VAT reconciliations, and support for VAT and e- invoice matters arising from daily business operations.
• The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance & Accounting team and other internal stakeholders. With structured onboarding and guidance, the role is expected to quickly become familiar with internal processes, systems, and working procedures.
• This is an excellent opportunity to work in a multinational, English-speaking environment, utilizing ERP/SAP systems and standardized accounting procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• 1. Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Monitor customer receivables, payment status, and outstanding balances.
• Prepare regular AR reports and track overdue accounts.
• Coordinate with relevant internal teams and customers to follow up on outstanding payments.
• Perform customer account reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
• Ensure AR records and supporting documentation are accurate and properly maintained.
• Support AR-related activities during the month-end closing process.
2. VAT & Tax Compliance
AR & Tax Accountant
• Prepare and submit monthly VAT declarations in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Perform VAT reconciliations and prepare relevant supporting schedules.
• Provide guidance and support to internal departments on VAT and e-invoice matters, including sales returns, invoice adjustments, replacement invoices, and other non-routine cases.
• Stay updated on changes in VAT and e-invoicing regulations and communicate relevant requirements to stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing explanations, documents, and supporting materials for tax authority inquiries when required.
3. Accounting Support
• Record accounting transactions related to AR, VAT, and other assigned activities.
• Perform account reconciliations for customer receivables and tax-related accounts.
• Support month-end closing activities within the assigned scope.
• Assist with payment processing when required, including reviewing supporting documents and maintaining payment records.

• Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with hands-on exposure to AR, VAT declaration, VAT reconciliation, or tax compliance.
• Previous experience in an FDI/multinational environment is preferred.
• Experience working with ERP/SAP systems is an advantage.
• Technical Skills
• Good Excel skills, particularly in handling accounting data, reconciliations, and basic reporting.
• Solid practical knowledge of AR processes, VAT declaration, VAT reconciliation, and e- invoice-related matters.
• Proficiency in accounting software or ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus.
• Good written English communication skills for emails, reports, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
