POSITION PURPOSE

-The Trend, Design & Digital Coordinator supports the execution of trend, product, and digital initiatives across the TDD department.

-Working closely with the TDD Manager, this role helps translate creative direction into execution by coordinating trend research, product development, presentations, digital content, and strategic initiatives. The role serves as a key communication link between the U.S. and Vietnam teams while helping ensure projects remain organized, consistent, and on schedule.

-As business priorities require, this role may also provide design support to DPI customer projects during periods of available capacity, as assigned by management.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. TREND RESEARCH & TREND BOOKS

-Research global trends across furniture, home decor, materials, color, retail, & lifestyle.

-Support seasonal Trend Book development.

-Prepare mood boards, presentations, & inspiration documents.

-Monitor competitors & emerging market opportunities.

2. TREND TRANSLATION & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

-Translate seasonal trend direction into commercial product concepts.

-Prepare product concept presentations.

-Coordinate & track sample development.

-Support with product refinement throughout development.

3. CREATIVE PROJECT SUPPORT

-Support creative presentations & visual storytelling.

-Develop concept boards & support product curation.

-Coordinate sample preparation & readiness.

-Assist with graphics, presentations, & creative deliverables.

-Support strategic TDD projects.

4. DIGITAL PROJECTS

-Coordinate digital assets and collaborate with the AI team.

-Facilitate photography & video planning.

-Organize digital presentations & marketing assets.

-Support future digital initiatives & website improvements.

5. TRADE SHOWS & STRATEGIC PROJECTS

-Assist with creative presentations & visual storytelling.

-Support collection planning & product curation.

-Prepare concept boards, mood boards, & design references.

-Support strategic TDD initiatives as assigned.

6. DEPARTMENT COORDINATION

-Coordinate & track multiple TDD initiatives simultaneously.

-Follow-up with cross-functional teams.

-Prepare meeting materials & presentations.

-Help maintain organized project documentation.

-Communicate project progress.

-Provide design support to DPI customer projects during periods of available business capacity.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in:

-Interior Design Graphic Design

-Furniutre Design or related field

-Product Design

EXPERIENCE

-Preferred 1-3 years of experience in a creative or design-related field in home décor, or related industries.

-Strong graduates with an exceptional portfolio will also be considered.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

-Adobe Creative Suite

-AI image generation tools

-PowerPoint (preferred)

-Microsoft Office

-Rhino, SketchUp 3D software (preferred)

-Basic understanding of product development
