EHS Supervisor

JOB PURPOSE/ MỤC ĐÍCH CÔNG VIỆC

To lead, implement, and standardize the EHS management system across all assigned factories to protect employees, ensure compliance with applicable legal and customer requirements, control occupational, environmental, and fire safety risks, and maintain continuous audit/assessment readiness to support sustainable manufacturing and export operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ TRÁCH NHIỆM CHÍNH

1. EHS system leadership

Develop, implement, standardize, and continuously improve the EHS management system across all factories.

Establish policies, SOPs, work instructions, checklists, forms, and change-control mechanisms related to occupational safety, environmental management, fire prevention, contractor management, and emergency response.

Establish EHS KPIs, dashboards, and conduct periodic management reviews to monitor system effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

2. Legal and customer compliance

Ensure all factories comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and customer requirements related to occupational safety, environmental protection, fire prevention, chemical management, wastewater, waste management, and mandatory records/reports.

Monitor changes in legal and customer requirements and ensure timely implementation across all factories.

Act as the focal point for internal audits, customer audits, certification audits, social/environmental assessments, and inspections by relevant authorities.

Track the closure of non-conformities, CAPAs, and supporting evidence, ensuring timely and effective implementation.

3. Risk management and prevention

Organize hazard identification, risk assessment, and environmental aspect & impact assessment for each area, process, equipment, and production change.

Manage near misses, unsafe acts/unsafe conditions, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.

Supervise site compliance in areas such as machine safety, electrical safety, chemical safety, ergonomics, PPE, forklift/traffic control, hot work, working at height, confined space, contractor safety, and warehouse safety.

Monitor the operation of wastewater treatment systems, waste and hazardous waste management, emission control, pollution prevention, and environmental performance.

Organize induction training, refresher training, emergency drills, and EHS awareness programs for employees and contractors.

Promote worker participation, hazard reporting mechanisms, and a "speak-up" safety culture.

Develop and maintain a multi-site EHS dashboard to monitor EHS performance and compliance status.

Report periodically to management and internal stakeholders on risk trends, compliance status, CAPA closure, audit results, and investment needs for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements / Yêu cầu công việc

• Educational Requirements / Học vấn

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, HSE, or related fields.

• Specialized Requirements / Trình độ chuyên môn

Preferred certifications in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Internal Auditor, Occupational Safety, Fire Safety, Emergency Response, Higg, or equivalent.

Practical knowledge of wastewater treatment, hazardous waste, chemical management, machine safety, and contractor safety.

• Years of Professional Experience / Kinh nghiệm

5–8 years of EHS experience in manufacturing

Experience with export customer requirements, EHS/social compliance audits, and multi-site system standardization is preferred.

• Language Skills / Ngoại ngữ

Good command of English for communication with customers, auditors, authorities, and documentation.

• Other Requirements / Khác

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with dashboards, digital checklists, and incident tracking systems is preferred.

Based at Binh Duong Factory and able to travel to Vinh Long factories as required.
