Test Engineer For Electrification Business

As a Test Engineer for Electrification business, you will be responsible for conducting testing and verification activities for assignments of low/medium testing complexity of systems, subsystems, or products effectively and cost-efficiently and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.

Reporting to Operation Manager, you will be ensuring tests/ inspections at suppliers' premises are carried out to meet the contractual obligations of systems orders. This position is based in Bac Ninh Vietnam.

Your responsibilities:

• Providing necessary support to other functions during the testing and validation of digital solutions
• Maintaining network of engineering professionals and shares best practice across different projects
• Making risk assessments to assure safe systems of work and taking appropriate actions
• Ensuring all applicable requirements, maintaining test reports, and certificates that prove compliance with required and applicable standards, market, or regulatory requirements in line with customer specifications, legal or ABB internal requirements
• Following work plans and cost estimates for work in their own area of responsibility
• Executing testing according to schedule. Prepares project test documentation
• Ensuring that type tests are carried to meet the contractual obligations
• Collaborating with the supply chain function to ensure correct suppliers services and equipment are available to support testing activities

Yêu cầu ứng viên

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• More than 2 years of experience in testing in engineering industry with knowledge of transformers, electrical switchgear (medium voltage preferable), or any relevant products
• Strong testing industry knowledge
• Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel Familiar with MS PowerPoint
• Advanced knowledge of IEC standards for testing
