Shipping Manager (Garment Factory)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Shipping Manager to oversee and optimize our company’s shipping and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of goods while managing a team and coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
·        Plan, organize, and supervise daily shipping operations.
·        Manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs agents.
·        Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
·        Monitor shipping schedules, costs, and performance metrics.
·        Implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce shipping costs.
·        Lead and train the shipping team to achieve operational excellence.
·        Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to align logistics with business needs
Requirements:
·        Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
·        Minimum 10 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management.
·        Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
·
In-depth understanding of Vietnamese import-export laws, trade regulations, and compliance requirements.
·        Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
·        Proficiency in shipping software and MS Office.
·        Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
Work Environment
·        Factory-based role with regular interaction with suppliers and production teams.
·        Reports directly to factory’s Vice President.
