Senior Business Analyst

The Business Analyst supports OGC and Mineral business teams by analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, coordinating with IT and vendors, and supporting the implementation and enhancement of digital solutions. The role ensures business requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and delivered in alignment with operational objectives.
Act as a bridge between business problems and technology solutions.
Analyze business needs and project strategies to propose optimal solutions.
Document requirements using industry-standard formats (BRD, SRS, FRS) and create diagrams such as product roadmaps and functional flows.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to build business processes, data structures, and ensure deliverables meet initial specifications.
Report progress and issues to management and escalate when necessary.
Assist in resolving service-related issues and adhere to development and support processes.
Ensure concepts are developed and managed from inception through post-deployment.
Participate in and take ownership of all digital transformation projects at SGS Vietnam, as assigned by management.
Perform any other related tasks as required.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Systems Analyst, Project Leader, or Project Manager or similar roles
Good knowledge of requirement documentation (BRD, SRS, FRS) and diagramming (roadmaps, organizational charts).
Advanced understanding of business practices and processes.
Ability to work proactively in ambiguous situations and collaborate across departments
Knowledge of at least one core business process area (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, or Record-to-Report).
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills.
Fluent English communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrate the ability to analyze business problems and design or propose effective business solutions.
*** Preferred Qualifications:
-    Experience with ERP end-to-end implemmentation.
-    Experience in TIC, Finance, or service industries.
-    Experience leading small or medium projects
-    Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, or AI-enabled business tools.
-    Basic Mandarin Chinese communication skills.
-    Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP, or equivalent.
The new employee will report directly to the Mineral Management team, who will be responsible for task assignment, work prioritization, and performance management. The ERP Project Manager will provide functional guidance, project support, and act as the dotted-line manager to ensure alignment with IT standards, digital transformation initiatives, and project governance.
The initial targets and projects for the new employee include:
- Continuing the enhancement and optimization of the Pre-Order System currently used by the Mineral-NR business.
- Implementing the Pre-Order System for the OGC business in Vietnam and Singapore.
- Leading and supporting other projects and business initiatives as assigned by Mineral Management.
