Senior Lab Technician - Chemical

- Conduct testing and deliver accurate and independent test reports in a timely maner
- Perform the sampling task professionally, accurately, honestly and safely
- Conduct audits in a professional, ethical manner and deliver accurate and independent reports on time.
- Receive and review testing orders, SOP’s and instruction before conducting testing
- Perform tests in a professional and safe manner; ensure that tests are carried out in accordance with testing orders, SOP and clients' instruction; record all raw data.
- Study and review test methods, SOP, client’s manuals and prepare the proper resources to ensure that jobs are conducted in compliance with required methods/ SOP/ manuals
- Keep Team leader informed on daily basis or as required about the progress of the testing and report any problems identified when performing tests
- Keep tools, chemicals and consumables in good conditions by storing at proper places
- Ensure day-to-day compliance in HSE & Quality management system (SOP, forms, guidelines, equipment calibration, ISO17025, etc.) and escalate potential operation risk.
- Preparing suitable equipments before sampling
- Performing sampling at factory as customer's request
- Perform other related tasks required by Team Leader/Supervisors/SBU/BU Manager
University/ College graduate in: Chemistry (Chrom Lab/Wet Chemistry Lab) and Microbiology/Biotechnology (Microbiology lab)
Senior Lab Tech:
- At least 2 years of experience in same field at SGS Food laboratory or other labs at the same field; or
- Taking additional role of hygiene auditor (20-50% task contribution) beside of lab technician
Lab technician: Fresh student or experienced lab technicians below 2 years
English level B equivalent
