Sales & Marketing Specialist (Battery - MT Channel)

We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Specialist to drive the expansion of Panasonic Battery products within the Modern Trade (MT) channel by developing new business opportunities, managing key retail accounts, and delivering sustainable sales growth.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

1. Business Development & Channel Expansion

- Identify and develop new Modern Trade customers, including supermarkets, convenience stores, electronics retailers, drugstores, and other mass merchandise channels.

- Expand Panasonic Battery business presence and market share across the MT channel.

- Introduce and secure product listings with target accounts.

2. Account Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and key decision-makers of MT accounts.

- Negotiate commercial terms, business agreements, and promotional activities with customers.

- Develop joint business plans and execute sales growth initiatives.

3. Sales & Performance Management

- Establish sales targets and drive achievement of revenue, volume, and profitability objectives.

- Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.

- Coordinate and execute trade marketing activities, promotions, and brand visibility programs to maximize sales results.

- Manage PSI (Purchase, Sales, and Inventory) to ensure healthy stock levels and optimize inventory turnover.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve demand planning and product availability.

- Conduct regular store visits to ensure product availability and compliance with display standards.

- Monitor merchandising effectiveness and recommend improvements to strengthen brand presence at point of sale.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or a related field.

- Minimum 4 years of sales experience, including at least 2 years within FMCG, Modern Trade, or Retail channels.

- Strong understanding of retail operations, category management, and Modern Trade business practices.

- Proven track record in new account development and sales target achievement.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

- Good command of spoken and written English.
