RBI Engineer

- Oversee and support all RBI preparation works which include data quality validation and checks of RBI inputs from various divisions.

- Perform Corrosion Loop development and mark-ups in PFDs.

- Perform and support Piping Circuit (including mixing point, injection point, dead leg and smallbore piping) development and mark-ups in P&IDs.

- Analyze inspection history, IOW information, operating & process parameters, MOC and FFS information to make decisions during RBI Assessment.

- Check retiring thickness limits and remaining life calculations of pressure equipment and piping in PCMS.

- Support RBI Team to generate reports/presentations with risk assessment results and mitigation plans.

- Write recommendations to close the gaps identified during RBI Assessments.

- Facilitate RBI Workshops and MOM (post RBI Workshop) action items follow-ups.

- Support RBI Leader to generate shutdown inspection work list for plant turnaround.

- Develop procedures and work instruction related to RBI program in NSRP.

- Acts as overall PCMS Administrator and coordinate with IT for updates and improvements.

- Study the inspection procedures/practices. Review/edit inspection reports when required and ensures that inspection records are well maintained.

- Manage objectives and departmental targets/KPI’s (MBO).

- Support in developing and achieving overall Quality Based Observations (QBO) objectives of RBI team.

- Other tasks will be assigned by Direct Supervisor/Manager.

Education: University graduated.

Qualification: Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgy Chemical or Petroleum Engineering.

Certified API 580 (preferable)

Working Experience:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical plant/project industries.

- Experience in carrying out RBI Assessments and Evaluations in oil & gas refinery and petrochemical.

- Experience in developing and maintaining corrosion circuits.

- Experience in damage mechanism assessment reviews.

- Experience in utilizing and maintaining Asset Data Management software like Plant Condition Management Software (PCMS).

- Working experience with plant historian data base like Uniformance Process Studio (UPS)

- Working experience with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)

English: English level of TOEIC 650 or equivalent.

Job Knowledge:

- Working knowledge of applicable international codes/standards such as ASME, NACE, ASTM, API and TEMA. (Both construction and post construction codes/ standards)

- Knowledge in conventional and advanced NDT applications and limitations.

- Working knowledge of oil and gas industry processes particularly refining and petrochemical.

Skill:

- Skill in spreadsheet, project scheduling and data base skills.

- Communication, presentation, and technical report writing skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel etc

Abilities:

- Ability to multi-task on parallel priorities, good approach to prioritization
