QA-QC Director - Manufacturing | Binh Duong

Our client is a well-established export-oriented manufacturer with operations in Binh Duong, specializing in hospitality and large-scale B2B projects for international markets.

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on QA/QC Director to lead all quality management activities across our manufacturing operations.

The role is responsible for developing and maintaining world-class quality systems, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and international certifications while supporting continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Important: Candidates must have proven experience in B2B furniture manufacturing for hospitality, hotel, resort, or commercial project clients. Applicants without hospitality project furniture experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and implement company-wide quality strategies and objectives.
• Lead QA/QC teams and establish a high-performance quality culture.
• Align quality systems with customer expectations and business goals.

Quality Assurance & Control

• Oversee incoming material inspections, in-process quality controls, and final product inspections.
• Ensure compliance with technical drawings, customer specifications, approved samples, and finishing standards.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action programs.

Customer Quality Management

• Act as the primary quality representative for key customers.
• Manage customer complaints, audits, corrective actions, and quality reporting.
• Ensure customer requirements are translated into effective production controls.

Quality Systems & Compliance

• Maintain and continuously improve:
  • ISO 9001
  • ISO 14001
  • FSC
  • C-TPAT
  • Customer-specific quality standards
• Lead internal audits and support third-party certification audits.

Continuous Improvement

• Analyze quality KPIs and manufacturing data.
• Reduce defects, rework, waste, and customer complaints.
• Implement quality improvement projects across all manufacturing functions.

Risk Management

• Identify and mitigate quality risks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Establish preventive systems to avoid recurring quality issues.
• Support operational excellence initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Wood Processing, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of quality management experience within manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years in a senior quality leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of QA systems, quality tools, auditing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with international manufacturing standards and customer audit requirements.
• English proficiency preferred.
