Factory Director - Manufacturing | Binh Duong

Our client is a well-established export-oriented manufacturer with operations in Binh Duong, specializing in hospitality and large-scale B2B projects for international markets.

We are seeking an experienced Factory Director to lead and optimize all manufacturing operations for a leading furniture manufacturer serving international hospitality and commercial projects.

This role is responsible for production performance, quality, delivery, cost control, workforce management, safety, and continuous improvement across the factory. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence while ensuring products consistently meet the demanding standards of hotel, resort, and hospitality clients worldwide.

Important: Candidates must have proven experience in B2B furniture manufacturing for hospitality, hotel, resort, or commercial project clients. Applicants without hospitality project furniture experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Leadership

• Lead all factory operations to ensure achievement of production, quality, delivery, safety, and financial targets.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Ensure production schedules are achieved while maintaining high quality standards and on-time delivery.

Production & Operational Excellence

• Optimize productivity, efficiency, and manufacturing capacity.
• Monitor key operational KPIs including output, yield, efficiency, defect rates, rework, and utilization.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks throughout production processes.

Quality & Customer Satisfaction

• Ensure products meet customer specifications, technical requirements, and quality standards.
• Partner closely with QA/QC and Engineering teams to minimize defects and improve product quality.
• Support successful execution of customer audits and quality compliance programs.

People Leadership

• Lead and develop department managers and factory leadership teams.
• Build succession plans and leadership pipelines.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Cost & Financial Management

• Manage manufacturing budgets and operating expenses.
• Control labor, material, utility, and overhead costs.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or delivery performance.

Safety, Compliance & Sustainability

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Champion 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and sustainability initiatives.
• Support ISO, FSC, C-TPAT, and customer compliance requirements.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, Wood Processing, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Over 5 years in a Factory Director, Plant Manager, Operations Director, or equivalent role.
• Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing, woodworking processes, finishing, assembly, and project execution.
• Experience managing large production teams and multi-department operations.
• Strong English communication skills preferred.
