About the role

We are looking for a Planning Executive to own demand, supply and inventory planning for our electric motorbike business. You will turn sales signals into a production plan that the factory can actually run, make sure materials are in the right place at the right time, and keep inventory healthy.

This is a role for someone who is fast and sharp with numbers, well-organized in managing many moving pieces, and skilled at working with people - because a good plan is one that other functions buy into and can deliver, not just a clean spreadsheet.

Responsibilities

Demand Planning

• Build and maintain rolling demand forecasts by SKU, channel and region (monthly and quarterly horizons).

• Consolidate inputs from Sales, Marketing, Bike Service, other dependent demand; adjust the baseline for promotions, launches, seasonality and market events.

• Track forecast accuracy (MAPE, bias) and run root-cause analysis on misses;

• Facilitate the monthly demand review with commercial teams to reach a consensus forecast.

Supply Planning

• Translate the consensus demand into a Master Production Schedule (MPS) and run MRP for materials and components.

• Work with Production on capacity, line balancing and feasible production windows.

• Work with Purchasing on lead times, supplier capacity and risk; coordinate expedites or alternative sources when needed

• Run scenario analyses (upside, downside, supply disruption) and recommend mitigation actions

Inventory Planning

• Set and regularly review safety stock, reorder points and target inventory levels by category.

• Monitor inventory health: stock cover, turnover, ageing, slow-moving and obsolete (SMO); drive corrective actions.

• Partner with Warehouse on cycle counts, stock accuracy and FIFO discipline.

• Drive working-capital improvements through inventory optimization without hurting service levels.

S&OP and Cross-Functional Coordination

• Drive the monthly S&OP cycle: prepare materials, run pre-meetings, facilitate the consensus meeting, document decisions and actions.

• Align demand, supply and financial views; surface misalignments and trade-offs to leadership.

• Work daily with Sales, Marketing, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, R&D and Finance to keep the plan executable.

Reporting, Analysis & Continuous Improvement

• Build and maintain planning dashboards and recurring reports (forecast accuracy, service level, stock cover, plan adherence, etc.).

• Conduct ad-hoc analyses on plan variances, supply risks and working capital.

• Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, data quality and automation; lead small improvement projects.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Economics or a related field.

Around 2 to 3 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management or a related supply-chain role.

Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, automotive or e-mobility is a strong plus.

Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, NetSuite or similar); comfortable reading a BOM.

Solid working knowledge of S&OP, MPS, MRP and inventory management principles.

Core Skills

Fast and sharp with numbers — comfortable handling large datasets and turning them into clear, actionable insights.

Highly organized — manages many moving pieces (forecasts, schedules, inputs from multiple teams) without dropping balls.

Strong people skills — works effectively with Sales, Marketing, Production, Purchasing and Finance to build plans that are feasible and bought into, not just plans on paper.

Proactive with high ownership — anticipates issues, flags risks early, comes with options and a recommendation.

Strong logical and structured problem-solving.

Proficient in Excel (lookups, pivots, basic modelling).

Good written and verbal English.

Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment.

Strong Plus

Ability to work with large datasets beyond Excel - SQL, Power Query, or similar.

Data visualization tools - Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar.

Python (or R) for data processing, analysis or simple automation.

Experience with process automation (Power Automate, Apps Script, scripting).

Statistical forecasting exposure (time series, regression, etc.).
