About the job

Logistics is one of the most important part at Dat Bike now as we are getting substantial number of orders to deliver since we launched our new product. With that exponential growth, we are looking for a Logistics Lead to run our finished goods warehouse and build initiatives to deliver bikes efficiently to our customers.

Responsibilities

Fulfillment Operations

- Own the end-to-end order fulfillment process from order confirmation to successful customer delivery, ensuring speed, accuracy, and service quality.

- Oversee warehouse operations for finished goods, including receiving, storage, inventory accuracy, picking, packing, and outbound shipments.

- Monitor daily fulfillment performance and proactively resolve operational issues to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

- Define and continuously improve fulfillment SOPs to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.

Logistics Management

- Plan and coordinate shipments based on inventory availability, customer commitments, and business priorities.

- Manage relationships with logistics partners and transportation vendors, including performance evaluation, SLA management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.

- Build and maintain a diversified logistics vendor network to improve service coverage, delivery quality, and operational resilience.

- Monitor shipping quality, delivery performance, damage rates, and transportation costs, implementing corrective actions when necessary.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and inventory control procedures.

- Optimize warehouse layout, storage capacity, and operational workflows to maximize productivity and space utilization.

- Collaborate with Procurement, Planning, and Production teams to ensure healthy inventory levels and product availability.

Process Improvement & Systems

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across fulfillment and logistics operations by identifying bottlenecks and implementing scalable solutions.

- Lead digitalization and automation projects related to warehouse management, order tracking, logistics operations, and reporting.

- Partner with Product and Technology teams to improve internal systems that support fulfillment visibility and operational efficiency.

- Develop dashboards and KPI reporting to monitor operational performance and support business decision-making.

Cross-functional Collaboration

- Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, Production, Finance, and Product teams to ensure seamless order execution.

- Support new product launches, promotional campaigns, and business expansion by ensuring operational readiness.

- Handle customer escalations related to fulfillment and logistics, identifying root causes and implementing preventive solutions.

Team Leadership

- Lead, coach, and develop the Fulfillment & Logistics team to build a high-performing and customer-focused organization.

- Define team objectives, monitor performance, conduct regular coaching, and support career development.

- Plan workforce capacity, shift scheduling, and resource allocation based on business demand.

- Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence.

Performance Management

- Own key operational KPIs including:

- Order fulfillment SLA

- On-time delivery rate

- Order accuracy

- Inventory accuracy

- Warehouse productivity

- Bike servicing turnaround time

- Logistics cost per order

- Damage and return rate

- Customer delivery satisfaction

- Analyze operational data and recommend improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

***Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

- 5+ year experience in similar position, preferably within the automotive/motorcycle or tech industry.

- Strong understanding of both B2B and B2C sales processes.

- Experience in managing dealer/distributor networks and direct-to-consumer channels.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to drive strategic decisions.

- Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Willingness to travel within the region as required (50%-70%).
