Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Merchandiser to join our Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating customer orders from order confirmation through production and shipment, ensuring smooth communication between customers and internal departments. This role plays a critical part in maintaining customer satisfaction, delivery performance, and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Order & Customer Management
Receive and process customer purchase orders (POs).
Review customer requirements, forecasts, and order changes.
Coordinate order confirmation and fulfillment with internal teams.
Monitor order status and ensure on-time delivery commitments.
Serve as the main contact point between customers and internal departments.
Project & Product Development Coordination
Follow up on new projects and new product introduction (NPI) activities.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Manage customer specifications, packaging requirements, and related documentation.
Packaging & Sample Management
Coordinate packaging artwork, labels, cartons, and customer approvals.
Manage product sample requests, testing, approval processes, and shipments.
Maintain accurate records of samples and customer requirements.
Production, Logistics & Export Coordination
Coordinate production schedules and delivery plans with planning teams.
Work closely with Purchasing, Production, QA, Warehouse, and Logistics to resolve issues affecting delivery.
Arrange shipment bookings and track cargo loading schedules.
Support export customs clearance, shipping documentation, and Certificate of Origin (C/O) applications.
Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure smooth export operations.
Documentation & System Management
Maintain accurate order information in ERP systems.
Ensure all customer-related documents are updated and properly archived.
Prepare reports related to orders, deliveries, and customer payment records.
Continuous Improvement
Analyze order execution issues and recommend process improvements.
Support initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, English, or related fields.
Experience
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Merchandising, Sales Coordination, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Project Coordination within a manufacturing environment.
Experience in export/import operations is preferred.
Language Skills
Good command of English (written and spoken).
Chinese language capability is a strong advantage.
