Merchandise Assistant - Sports Brands (HOA - 000025_SHO-SPO-179-192-077-1)

1. Merchandise Management:
Assist in managing the merchandise mix to optimize sales and profitability within the department store and fashion business.
Support the Buyer in achieving business objectives for sales, gross profit (GP), sell-through rates, and stock management at division, sub-category, and SKU levels.
2. Product Data and Allocation:
Ensure accurate and up-to-date product master data.
Allocate stock to stores based on the assortment plan, ensuring products are allocated to the right stores at the right time.
Monitor inventory levels and stock movement by store and SKU to identify stock shortages, excess stock, slow-moving items, and broken size ranges.
Monitor store stock capacity and ensure allocation and replenishment are aligned with store capacity, assortment plan, and sales potential.
Coordinate stock replenishment, transfer, consolidation, and pull-out actions to optimize inventory levels and store capacity.
Prepare regular inventory and store capacity reports, highlighting key risks and required actions to the Buyer and Category Manager.
3. Cross-functions Coordination and Support:
Coordinate with Operations, Marketing, and E-commerce teams to provide and manage product information.
Assist with ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Buyer and line manager.
4. Additional Duties:
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Buyer or line manager.
Relevant Experience:
Prior experience in a merchandise or retail support role is preferred.
Proficient in data management such as Microsoft Excel and inventory systems. VBA is a plus
Effective at managing stock allocation and supporting merchandise planning.
Good communication skills for coordinating with various departments.
Strong attention to detail in managing product data and stock allocation
