Manufacturing Model Optimization Expert (Working in Hai Phong)

Research, develop, and implement advanced manufacturing models to optimize factory operational performance, improve labor productivity, reduce manufacturing costs, and support the Group’s Smart Manufacturing strategy.

• Research, propose, and design manufacturing models including Lean Manufacturing, Toyota Production System (TPS), Industry 4.0, Smart Factory, and Digital Manufacturing; assess current operations; develop optimized manufacturing models; and recommend long-term manufacturing strategies.

• Propose productivity and operational excellence solutions through bottleneck analysis; optimize factory layout, material flow, line balancing, workforce allocation, and capacity planning; and improve OEE, productivity, throughput, lead time, and cost per unit.

• Conduct system simulation and analysis using AnyLogic, FlexSim, Plant Simulation, and Arena; perform capacity simulation, discrete event simulation, and what-if analysis; and evaluate investment and improvement scenarios.

• Drive Digital Transformation and Smart Manufacturing initiatives by advising on the optimization of existing systems such as MES, APS, Digital Twin, IoT Platforms, and Manufacturing Intelligence solutions; develop KPI dashboards; and apply AI and data analytics to manufacturing optimization.

• Lead continuous improvement projects including Lean Transformation, Productivity Improvement, Cost Optimization, and Smart Factory initiatives; monitor project ROI; and provide training and deployment guidance

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation, Data Science, Industrial Management, or related fields. A master’s degree or an MBA is preferred.

• Experience: 5–10 years of experience in Manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or Smart Manufacturing; minimum 3 years leading optimization projects.

• Professional Knowledge: Lean Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Line Balancing, Capacity Planning, Operations Research, Simulation and Optimization.

• Tools: Power BI/Tableau, SQL, Python, Minitab, SAP/MES, AnyLogic, FlexSim, and Plant Simulation.

• Language: Professional proficiency in English.

• Knowledge of automotive manufacturing or large-scale assembly operations.

• Experience implementing Smart Factory initiatives.

• Experience developing and deploying Digital Twin solutions.

• Experience applying AI/ML for forecasting and manufacturing optimization.

• Strategic mindset in Manufacturing Model & Cost Optimization.
