Maintenance Supervisor (Wastewater Treatment)

Role Purpose:

Plans, organizes, and directs facility maintenance, repair, and physical operation.

Oversee all water/ wastewater treatment operations, assist in the preparation of treatment plant budgets, plan, assign and supervise the work of a crew operating and maintaining wastewater or water treatment plants, and to perform other duties as required

What you will do (Key Responsibilities):

A: Safety and Environment

Report incident, accident to HSE within the required time and accurately.

Actively look for areas where safety and environment can be improved.

Ensure that safe work rules and practices are understood, implemented and consistently followed by finishing maintenance staffs and contractor.

B. Productivity

B1: Preventive maintenance

On time implement the preventive maintenance schedule.

Maintain maintenance records, maintenance logs

Record and maintain data to develop maintenance history, schedule to minimize downtime of machines in finishing process.

Lead to do root cause analysis.

Monitoring spare parts consumption and stock level to meet require of maintenance activities and budget.

B2: Corrective maintenance.

Perform corrective maintenance task in the agreed time period.

Supervises emergency repair jobs; plans and estimates maintenance and repair work; maintains records of work order requests and completion

Supervises and coordinates the day-to-day maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Oversees staff that installs, inspects, repairs, and maintains building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management.

C. Quality

Must always have plans in place to maintain a variety of systems and functions within the facility.

Analysis and investigates maintenance and personnel problems or issues, and prepares and compiles written reports with solutions and/or recommendations.

Ensures calibration of all testing equipment and orders testing supplies.

D. People management and Development

Promotes information sharing and regular communication

Training and development technicians to align with department goals .

Provide a friendly, inclusive, service-oriented environment for all staff and participants.

Demonstrate awareness of, and appreciation for, individual uniqueness and diversity.

Maintain prompt hours and follow absence procedures.

Perform other duties as may be assigned by Engineering Manager

-Diploma or Degree in Environmental, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

-Minimum 3 years’ experience in wastewater treatment operations.

-Supervisory experience in industrial utilities or environmental systems.

-Knowledge of wastewater treatment process, environmental regulations and laboratory testing.

-Ability to communicate in English.
